Tasty Aloo Chaat Recipe Step by Step

Step: 1 Potato Frying

  • 3 pcs Boiled Cubed Potatoes
  • 1 cup Vegetable Oil

Step: 2 Gravy Making

  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 2 tsp Finely Chopped Garlic
  • 3 pcs Finely Chopped Tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Ginger Paste
  • 1 tsp Garlic Paste
  • Salt to Taste
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 tsp Red Chili Powder

Final Step Serving Aloo Chaat

  • Finely Chopped Red Onion
  • Sev
  • Finely Chopped Green Chili
  • Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves
  • Chaat Masala


  1. Boil three big size potatoes, then cut them in cubed.

  2. Heat oil on the non-stick frying pan. Fry all the boiled potatoes cubed until light golden brown.

  3. Remove the potatoes on a bowl. Fry all boiled potatoes cubed by the same procedure.

  4. Now put cumin seed on the heat oil. Next put Finely chopped Garlic 2tsp, Finely chopped Tomato 3pcs, Ginger paste 1tsp, Salt to taste, Turmeric Powder 1/2tsp, Cumin Powder 1/2tsp, Coriander Powder 1/2tsp and Red Chili Powder 1tsp. Cover with the lid for a minute. Cook until the tomatoes are soft.

  5. In the final step, take a bowl put fried cubed potatoes. Now add onion and tomatoes gravy. Mix well.

  6. For serving - take a nice plate. Put mixing cubed potatoes on the plate. Add Finely Chopped red onion, Sev, Finely chopped green chili, Finely Chopped Coriander and chaat masala on the top. Now serve it to your friends-family.
